# Accessing user profile information in app

When an operator sign into the app player, how do I access the name and/or badge number of this specific operator? I want to associate the app completion with his/her identity without having to ask the operator to enter it manually.

Hi Wei, welcome to the Tulip community. When an operator logs into the Tulip Player, their name and badge ID are automatically stored in all app completions while they are logged in. To add on – if you want to do something custom with the username + badge id, it’s accessible via triggers as well:
