Fahd, Tulip Gateways are the main interface point between the Tulip platform and our supported hardware. You can do some pretty awesome stuff without a gateway, but for the PS25 you will need one!

Thank you for your help. Another thing please, can you list hardware that are supported buy the gateway and can be, at the same time, used without the gateway.
thank you,

Hi Fahd,

Thanks for your question. Most devices require a gateway connection. However, there are a couple that can be used without. Devices that can output as a keyboard will work well simply plugged into your laptop. Nearly all bar code scanners can do this. Currently, other devices will need a gateway connection to be used with triggers. Does this help?

Thanks,
Brian

Hello,

Could you inform me if there is a list with all the devices/hardware that the gateway supports?
It is important to know in case I need to buy a device if the gateway will suppot it.
And more important if I will be able to find this device in another country.

Cheers

hello @Oshiro, you can find the list of supported devices by the gateway here: [https://tulip.co/devices/](https://tulip.co/devices/).

specifically, here are the scales: [https://tulip.co/devices/#measurements-weight](https://tulip.co/devices/#measurements-weight).

is this what you’re looking for??

I just need to know what devices the gateway supports.
I am about to beggin a new project and I would like to know If a gateway would satisfy all my needs, or if I can make this project run without it.

Thanks

@Oshiro those are the Gateway supported devices.

currently, only Barcode Scanners from that list do not require Gateways and can be plugged directly into computers or tablets.

it depends on the barcode scanner, it needs to have 2D scanning capabilities.

yes, only GK series.

hope this helps!!

Just one more thing, if I already have a zebra printer on a desktop, is there any way I can print the label using the printer I already own?
maybe withou the gateway?

yes, if it’s a GK printer you can use it with Tulip!!

the integration with this specific device does require a Gateway

I found a software where it can submit a print label’s request.

> **[Label Cloud | NiceLabel](https://www.nicelabel.com/label-cloud)**

Could I use it to print a QR code generated in TULIP? Even not being a GK or ZT series?

Another question,
If I have a Desktop with a zebra printer with a driver on it to comunicate with the cloud, can I print the QR CODE that way?

what type of printer are you referring to?? if it’s connected to your network, you can print apps using the **Print Steps** action: [How Operators Can Print App Data Or Save it to a PDF](https://support.tulip.co/en/articles/3648057-how-operators-can-print-app-data-or-save-it-to-a-pdf)

It would be a Zebra printer.
But since I am in brazil, the GK series are not standart here.
That’s why I am asking so many questions about printing a qr CODE label.

ahh OK, I think there’s been a slight misunderstanding here!! the GK Series is a model of the Zebra printer @Oshiro: [https://www.zebra.com/us/en/products/printers/desktop.html#mainpar-productseries\_74b9](https://www.zebra.com/us/en/products/printers/desktop.html#mainpar-productseries_74b9).

do you know which model Zebra printer you have?? (as @youri.regnaud there are other Zebra printer models that work with Tulip - although they do all require a Gateway).

But if I use the Nice label software ([https://www.nicelabel.com/label-cloud](https://www.nicelabel.com/label-cloud)), can I use it to print a QR code from others zebra printers that are already installed on a desktop?
