It would be a nice feature to be able to take a video. It would also be nice to select a photo to upload from a device as you can on a cell phone.

Hey Heather, this is a good idea. The mobile photo upload is much easier from an engineering perspective than the video upload at the moment. Will update this thread when we implement it!
