As more and more customers convert to hub and spoke based models which utilize Go To App By Name, there is an increasing need for security around this construct. Anyone with edit access to an app at any point could accidentally break operational applications.
In my opinion, part of the publishing construct should include the app name.
Alternatively, could add Go to App by ID as a trigger option to provide app builders a safer construct.

Thank you for this great suggestion.
Acknowledge that it’s hard to implement dynamic routing to apps e.g. via a Routing Table today, since Go to App by Name is too fragile.
We’re looking into options here like having an explicit string ID for Apps/Steps, which can be passed around, or solving part of the use case with something like “Go to last App”.
We’ll keep an eye on upvotes and follow up on the thread when we have an update.
