# Deactivate certain text input

Hello everyone,

I’m wondering if there’s a way to kinda deactivate or disable a text input in certain condition?

For example I have two instrument one for pressure and the other for temperature, I want make a trigger when the table record is the instrument for pressure the temperature text input can’t be edited and the opposite.

Here you can choose a variable or an expression…

E.g. this will disable interaction, if the comment is not null and not an empty string.

This would do basically the same:
