I have a simple QOL improvement to the App Builder to request. It already exists in other places so adding it to this one shouldn’t be too difficult.
Any context in the app builder where I click, for example, this “+” and then must create a required name field to continue, the name field should be focused automatically. This currently happens when creating new variables but not queries or aggregations.
The location shown is just an example, but there may be other places.
It’s the type of feature I am so accustomed to using other programs, that I forget I have to actually click the field I just spawned before I can type into it. This has resulted in me accidentally spawning new text fields when creating a query beginning with the letter T.

As it happens, this feature is one of the most commonly requested by users of the Tulip Apps we build, but the power to do that easily is covered in detail by a number of feature requests. This request is solely about the app builder itself.
