Is there an option to hide the badge ID when logging into the player or using the signature widget. We do training in a group setting and showing the trainer’s badge ID on the large screen for everyone to see is not desirable. We can do a workaround and create a training user account as a dummy user and avoid using the trainer’s own badge ID during the training session but still the ID is now known to everyone in the session.

Hi @Attaboy

it’s actually the first point on this list (if it comes to login)…
[[Tip of the Week] Defining Player Settings - General - Tulip Community](https://community.tulip.co/t/tip-of-the-week-defining-player-settings/3510)
I’m not sure if it also effects the signature widget.

However, if you run into a situation, where you cant hide the Badge ID, you could create a complex one (a long randomstring) and copy paste it into the input. This will at least reduce the chance of someone picking it up…

Excellent tips as always @thorsten.langner!

I’ll also add that every Tulip instance comes with a built in fake user “John Smith” with badge ID 0000. Another option would be to use John Smith as your example profile for trainings 🙂
