I am troubleshooting an issue involving Tulip Player v2.11.0 on a Windows 11 workstation.
The PC contains two Windows user profiles, and each profile has the Tulip Player installed. Both users run the same Tulip application and connect to the same Ingersoll Rand Insight QCX controller using a variable with a static IP and port.
For User 1, the connection to the controller is successful, and the correct torque profiles are loaded and executed without issue.
For User 2, the app connects to the controller successfully (MES LED turns green), but the torque profiles never load when requested by the trigger.
One additional detail is that during the original setup, I encountered random controller disconnects for both profiles. These disconnects stopped after changing the communication mode to Multi-Tool Open Protocol. I’m not sure if this might be a symptom. The Controller is not an MTC.
Have you encountered a similar issue where controller communication works under one Windows profile but not another? If so, is there a recommended troubleshooting process or known fix?
