# What does the customize window do in analysis creation

Starting to create analysis and dashboard using table records. There is a customize window on the bottom left corner for X AXIS, Y AXIS and COMPARED BY. I cannot figure out how to take advantage of the customize for X AXIS and Y AXIS. The COMPARED BY seems to allow change the color and title for the items in the legend.

Any documentation or help on using this feature would be appreciated.
