I am an engineer by education, obtaining a BS in Chemical Engineering (Major: Biochemical Engineering) from Rutgers University in 2003 and an MS Engineering Management from Drexel University in 2013, I have spent my whole career, post undergrad, working in the healthcare industry in some regard. From 2003 - 2014, I worked primarily with cleaning and sterilization process validation for vaccine and biologics manufacturing, at two different companies. Beginning in 2014 I joined a consumer products division of a major healthcare company on a cleaning validation project for restarting a plant under consent decree, and following that took a quality assurance job overseeing medical device distribution.
