I cant tell you how many times I have had to duplicate and Reconnect a custom widget because it was on a working app. Please just allow editing of custom widgets so that I can update features across all my apps. It is IMPOSSIBLE to fix issues across all our hundreds of apps, faster than we can find the issues.
This would partially fix one of your apps biggest flaws. Maintainability.

There’s a setting we can enable for you that will allow editing custom widgets that have been in published apps. If you send me your Tulip URL, I can enable it for you. Since it opens up the possibility of breaking published apps, we don’t turn it on by default.
In the future, we’re planning to introduce versioning to custom widgets, so you can continue to edit them without them changing published apps.
