Thanks for this release. Especially for HTTPS feature that will solve a critical vulnerability.

We plan to implement it asap how ever, we have some challenge that you could help us.
1/ We have arround 80 edge MC, implementing one by one the certificat is a huge effort and also to manage the renewal. Is there is way to directly install certificat with command line (SSH?)?
2/ Certificat contain the edge URL. As Edge gateway address is just an IP adress, it will difficult to manage one certificat for all our gateway. We would prefer an address with a domain and subdomain like xxx.tulipgateway.internalmycompany.com to allow us to create one certificat with wildcard *.tulipgateway.internalmycompany.com.

We are working internally on managing at scale certificat to our Tulip EdgeMC.
Today we have open point with our devops team:

  • Be able to use certificat on URL (FQDN) instead of IP address
  • Deployed and renew certificat automatically. Thanks for your script with API. Our devops team would like to know if ACME could be also support in the future?
