Join us for our upcoming Product Office Hours to learn more about what’s next for writing and reusing business logic in Tulip.
The Tulip team is iterating on new reusable logic functions that can be used in a workspace with connectors, data, table actions, native loops and conditions. This will help you simplify key logic and looping across all your applications.
We are anticipating functions becoming available for testing early this year, and coming to production this fall.
In this session, we would like to gather feedback on what should be included in future iterations of this feature, and help you begin to identify ways in which this feature can help simplify commonly reused triggers.
Hi @ricard.belles we don’t usually post Office Hours since some have questions that are related to their company.
However, I’d love to set up time with you and your team if this would be interesting. Just email your Customer Success Manager and myself - olga.stroilova@tulip.co to set this up
Thanks a lot, very interest to test asap the reusable function.
We have tones of SAP integration logic to test and put in this new function logic block.
VERY IMPORTANT:
In our context, all integration with ERP is with authentification oAuth2 Client Credential, it is a must have that the function call by an apps take the operator context (operator oAuth2 token).
It is today a limitation in Automation that we couldn’t used for SAP integration.
@Beth to correct me - I think we might not record office hours as they have sometimes company specific information shared by participants
@youri.regnaud I’d love to set up time with you to see how Functions might be useful for your team – you might have chatted with @Pete_Hartnett about Functions last year, and we’d love to show how the product is gelling, and collaborate on figuring out how they might fit into your architecture. Just reach out to your CSM to set up some time. Also happy to answer any questions here or over email!
Thanks @Nicolas great timing - we’re actually working on supporting oAuth2 user authorization in Functions now. This is planned to be part of the general availability release, and you also should be able to test it in the sandbox release, in a month or so.
