Image widget actions

Hello team,

It just happened that someone mistakenly changed the image click action from custom triggers to show image fullscreen. Unfortunately, the custom triggers were lost, and there was no snapshot. Could it be possible to improve the image widget to retain them the next time we switch from none or show image fullscreen back to custom triggers?

Hi @ChirristopherOficial,

Thanks for submitting your request. It seems like the image widget is one of the few (if not the only) widget we show the triggers section based on a previous selection called ‘custom triggers.’ It makes sense that you’d want the trigger you created to persist when switching between the ‘custom trigger’ option and the other options.

I’ve logged this request in our system and we’ll be able to take a look at it soon.

Why not simply allow custom triggers always?
When selecting full screen, the custom triggers could also apply…

If you don’t want the triggers to apply, you could simply switch them off.

You could also have a regular “triggers” section, where the first trigger is uneditable “show in full screen” and you can switch it on and off as a regular trigger.

As bonus, the condition (full screen or not) can be an event value and available for the standard triggers (however I have only a minor use case for that function, yet).

@thorsten.langner you bring up a great point! We will definitely consider this when looking at this issue. Thanks!
