Sort Aggregations When Selecting from Variable Widget

When selecting a table aggregation as the datasource for a variable widget, they are not sorted in any way, which makes it incredibly difficult and tedious to find the one you’re looking for.

When you only have a few aggregations it’s not a big deal, but I’m creating a dashboard app that has quite a lot, and in situations like that it takes a really long time to look through the whole list.

If there was a search function or auto-sorting by alphabetical or time added that would be great.

Hi @broesch,

You can click into the “Select a data source” box to search through Variables, App Info, and Aggregations. Hope this saves you a bit of time!

This works! I guess I clicked into the aggregations first and couldn’t search at that point. Thanks for the tip!
