I’m exploring whether there’s a need in our community for dedicated SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts capabilities in Tulip. While we have some quality-related apps in the Library (see our Frontline QMS), I want to understand if there’s demand for more comprehensive SPC functionality.
What I’m Looking to Understand:
Current SPC Usage:
- Are you currently using SPC charts in your operations?
- What tools are you using today (Excel, Minitab, dedicated SPC software, etc.)?
- Which types of control charts do you use most? (X-bar & R, X-bar & S, p-charts, c-charts, etc.)
Integration Needs:
- Would you want SPC charts directly integrated into your Tulip apps, or are you happy with external tools?
- Do you need SPC data to trigger alerts or actions in your workflows?
Industry Context:
- Are there specific compliance standards you need to meet? (ISO, FDA, etc.)
- How often do you run SPC analysis? (Real-time, hourly, daily, weekly?)
