Spoof Serial Device Connection on Windows?

I’m travelling this week and I don’t have my usual array of connected serial devices - but I’d like to simulate some serial device connections to continue testing my app and its device connection triggers. Is there a way to do this natively within Windows? I’m somewhat limited on what I can install due to it being an enterprise machine.

Hey Jim,

Someone on the Tulip Team has used this before! https://com0com.sourceforge.net/

This one could be another option, but may not be free Virtual Serial Port Driver - create and emulate virtual COM port

Looks like there are some videos on how to use these on Youtube as well

Have fun Tulip-ing on the road! :tulip:
