Hello John,
I’m quickly walking through the tulip essentials and I notice that the display of the shopfloor is really different from my version r201. What are the main difference ? I send you 2 screenshots below,

Hey Patxi, that’s a good catch—you’re correct in noticing that the interface for the shop floor has changed pretty dramatically on your release. The platform is evolving quickly, so we’re going to do our best to make sure that what we have on University is reflected in what you see in your account. Thanks for flagging this, I can put it on the docket as the first video to update :slight_smile:

Hi there,

I am just sitting the Tulip essentials course, this tells you to download Tulip player.

I have downloaded this and filled in all relevant data but it is asking for a badge ID.

Would anyone know were I would find this ID.

you can navigate to https://{{your_instance}}.tulip.co/account-settings/users to view the Badge ID’s for all the users in your instance.

in this example, the Badge ID for my User is 46:

let us know if you’re able to find it!!

Sorry, I have the same issue with locating my Badge ID. I have tried to navigate my instance as advised, but it returns a 404. Please, I could do with your help with finding the Badge ID.

hello @fredagha, sure thing.

were you able to navigate to the Users tab in your instance?? here’s how to get there. click on your icon > navigate to Settings:


click on Users:

once your there, do you see the list of Users with the:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Badge ID

if you only see the Name and email, you can open the User’s profile to set their Badge ID.

Sadly, navigating through my icon does not show any settings menu.

Maybe I have some restrictions on my account due to my status (candidate).

Should I send a screenshot of the users I can see on my dashboard?

ah my apologies, the Settings tab is indeed restricted to Account Owners and Administrators.

but not a problem - if you navigate to My Profile, you will see the option to set the Badge ID for yourself:


once you set it, you need to click Save (top right).

can you confirm you’re able to do that?? hope this helps!!
