Excite to announce the release of Tulip Player 2.1.0. As a reminder, announcements are now hosted in the Tulip Knowledge Base. Please follow the link to see all of the details. We value your feedback, and we encourage you to let us know your thoughts on the update here.

Version 2.1.0 of Player will be available for download by 9:00PM ET today! If you’re using Player devices, the next time you restart the application, the application will automatically check for updates and prompt you to install the latest version. Alternatively, you can manually initiate the update process.

I don’t find the information how to setup this features:

  • Reduced the minimum configurable timeout to 5 seconds for Windows users to claim an inactive station

Is this dropdown box no longer available in 2.1.0? Player updated on a station this morning and I did not see it.

Hi @Nicolas,

These timeouts are set via Windows Environmental Variables outside of the Tulip Platform. You should work with you IT department to set these variables. If you need help configuring the specific variables for your instance, please contact Tulip Support via support@tulip.co or live chat through your instance.

Hi @jjj,

You need to have an app selected in Tulip Player to view that drop down menu. Try launching an app to run in Player. That dropdown menu should be available again after that.
