@thorsten.langner circling back to your question, let me move to a Support ticket to check your instance and app.
You should be able to input 20 digits after the decimal - I edited my comment above, it was incorrect.

I retested the same app. And it works just fine now.
Also the amount of digits was 16 including the ones before the decimal point.
Now I can type in 20 digits after the decimal point, no matter how long the number is before.
I guess this got fixed with the last update to 308…

Or maybe your instance was not yet ready for the new number when you tested
It was 307 and should have been ready.
Also it provided 20 digits in tables, variable widgets and as setting on input widgets…
To me it clearly appeared as a bug (no matter what release) since the displayed and setting number differed…
