Ability to query the activity log of a machine from an app

Is there a way to query a machine’s activity log from an app without necessarily having to go through analytics?

Say, I would like to get a list of all recently used “programes” at a machine to populate a select widget…

Actually, I would like to use that variable then as a filter argument in an analytic. But I need the user to select the program first… and that is coming from the machine.

Hi @sebme - I don’t believe this is currently possible. An analysis is effectively a query and for machines, we don’t support the same query/aggregation model as what exists for Tulip tables, so the only option here is to use an analysis
