"App Info.This Station" vs "App Info.Station Name"

Just playing around in LTS 14 to see what is new (vs. 8.2) that I might want to use on my base layout and noticed two fields that appear to show the same information. Is there any difference between these?

  • App Info.This Station
  • App Info.Station Name

“This station” is of data type “Station” and contains the ID and the Name.
It is the one to save into a station type variable or field, where you can only select valid stations.

“Station name” is just the name as text. You can save this into a text variable or concatenate with other text.
