It’s time for another Community Spotlight! These are special features to introduce you to the awesome folks working alongside you in the Tulip Community
This month, I am so excited to feature Nicolette Naya (@nicolettenaya), a Senior MES Engineer at Tiffany & Co.
With a background in material science and engineering, Nicolette started as an intern at Tiffany’s Rhode Island facility and later joined the company full-time, taking on large-scale Tulip projects to digitize production across multiple facilities.
You always have some really good product suggestions that you post on Community, if you could wave a magic wand and have one implemented tomorrow, which one would it be?
Great question! I If I could wave a magic wand, I would want a master base layout/template that, when applied to an application, could be used at a template level—meaning any changes published to the template would automatically reflect across all applications using it.
For customers who create Work Instructions as individual applications, even small changes require a very manual tedious process. Implementing a solution like this would save time and create a more agile and efficient app-building and updating process.
Hi Madison! From an innovation standpoint, our goal is to drive acceptance of digital changes in our facilities. While we may encounter resistance, having teams that are willing and open to adopting new digitized processes is key to overcoming challenges. I focus on clear communication, demonstrating value, and providing hands-on support to ease the transition.
Additionally, when gathering new application requirements, I prioritize involving all stakeholders early in the process. This ensures that different perspectives are considered, leading to a more effective and widely accepted solution. By fostering collaboration and emphasizing the long-term benefits of these changes, staying motivated and maintaining positive outlook, even when faced with adversity
