Dear Tulip Team and Community,
While working on an automation for my application, I noticed a limitation in Tulip Automation: currently, expressions like USER_ID_TO_USER()
and BADGE_ID_TO_USER()
are not supported.
Enabling these expressions within automation workflows would significantly enhance flexibility for developers. Specifically, it would allow us to dynamically assign users to variables of the Assigned User datatype, which could then be leveraged for various backend operations such as:
- Sending automated emails
- Triggering messages
- Assigning tasks or responsibilities
Since Tulip Automation operates in the backend, incorporating this functionality would streamline processes for both developers and end users, improving efficiency and user experience across applications.
I believe this enhancement would be a valuable addition to the platform, and I encourage fellow community members to upvote and support this suggestion.
