Currently it is not possible to send files or images over email. However, I think this is generally a good opportunity to send people links to a Tulip app where they can view the files and image in Tulip. For example, set up an email alert that says, “Someone has uploaded a new material request form. Please look in the Material Requests app to view the latest files.” This way:
- they get used to the system and know where to look up many images and files whenever they need
- they are accessing a live version of the file instead of a saved copy
- You enable more dynamic responses to the files being alerted to

However, I would still heavily advocate for improved email formatting options as a Tulip feature. At least let us generate HTML or something.
