I am a master student in industrial engineering at FH- Kiel.
Currently I am working on m master thesis and I am concentrating on No-Code Apps in manufacturing industries.
Could anyone please recommend some good journals about No Code Apps and its applications in manufacturing industries.
I couldn’t find a lot of relevant journals with relevance to this topic.
So I would be very happy to receive your valuable suggestions.
no-code and low-code aren’t going to be dedicated journal topics; the space is just too small. Tracing citations from these Google scholar results, the most well-known manufacturing publications carrying research on these topics are CIRP Annals / Procedia CIRP and IEEE (multiple conferences). I also had better luck with search terms “low-code manufacturing” than anything using “no code” or variations.
Also, while these books are not specifically about no-code apps, I highly recommend them:
Augmented Lean: A Human-Centric Framework for Managing Frontline Operations A Human-Centric Framework for Managing Frontline Operations ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1119906008/ )
“Augmented Lean” is by Natan Linder (Tulip’s co-founder and CEO) and Trond Arne Undheim ( Tulips’ Lead Ecosystem Evangelist), and “Future Tech” is also by Trond.
Also worth mentioning: Trond publishes two podcasts that I have found to be very informative: “Futurized” and “Augmented.” You can find links to them here: https://trondundheim.com
