Hi All,

Is anyone getting a limited error?
Error message is Limited by run rate, have been seeing this for the last 2 weeks.

Hi @nadine.xuereb,

Could you share any additional details on the limited state? If you hit the little carrot (“>”) next to Limited, it should provide some additional details.

I guess that you may have created an automation that will cause itself to fire (i.e. I’m having an automation run due to a table update, and I update the same table later in the automation)

Thanks for your reply.
That is not the case for our automation.
Steps:

  1. Automation is trigger with a machine attribute
  2. Checks if a machine activity field is empty?
  3. If yes, set as. If no, add.

Either way, wouldn’t you be re-triggering the automation since you’re either setting the attribute or modifying the attribute?

Hi Jake,

No, I am not modifying the attribute, I am modifying an activity field.
The trigger for the automation is a sensor input, while the activity field is the part count (In this case).

Hi @nadine.xuereb,

How often is this sensor outputting an event? It may be that this in conjunction with your other automations, you may be hitting the automation run limit cap per hour
