Loop in automation flow

Hello Expert
I have two numbers of tables,
1 work order.
2.opeartion

I want to Create a Tulip automation that monitors Work Order records for update and then copies the Work Order.Number field to each of the associated Operation.WO

how can we archive this using loop in automation flow?

Hello Expert,
any updates on above requirement?

Hi Kiran,

Thanks for reaching out! Have you checked out our Knowledge Base articles on using Automations? Here are a couple of example articles for a specific use case of updating inventory which may be similar to what you’re doing, and also how to use Looping:

https://support.tulip.co/docs/inventory-management-solution-with-automations

https://support.tulip.co/docs/how-to-use-looping-in-automations

How many records/items are you hoping to loop through? Note that there’s currently a 60 second limit per automation run, so some folks have to break up large data sets into chunks if they’re trying to loop over more than a few hundred records. If you’re just listening to Work Order record updates and are doing one field copy per record, you might get away without using looping at all…

Does this help? Let us know if you have any further questions!

Also please feel free to drop by our office hours where a Tulip expert could help you through any tricky parts live, while looking at the Automation you’re building.
