I think this link in the release note is wrong. It is linked to r284.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share additional details on the Compare App Versions feature launched in Release 286.

Compare versions modal

Compare App Versions

The compare versions feature allows users to see what has changed in an app from version to version. This feature helps to reduce time dedicated to app review and Approval processes and ensure compliance requirements are met.

Some examples of changes captured in the comparison are:

  • Widgets: added, deleted, and modified (ex. color, position, triggers)
  • Steps: added, deleted, and modified (ex. changes to step level triggers) or widgets reordered
  • App: modified (ex. name, steps reordered, resolution)

To access the feature, simply select an app, navigate to the Versions tab, and click the three-dot menu to the right of the app version you want to compare and select Compare versions.

Compare App Versions:

  • Is available on all Enterprise Plans
  • Can compare app versions created on Factory Release 275 or later
  • Can compare imported app versions as long as the imported app versions being compared are of the same app, and created on Release 275 or later.

For further details, please check out the Compare App Versions Knowledge Base article.

Happy building!

@jakerigos
I see almost identical Description in three separate tickets in the “Bug Fixes” section. Is this correct ?

PLAT-35575, PLAT-34885, PLAT-26497

I just wanted to make sure.

Hi @ta-aoki,

Each ticket tackles a small part of the overall behavior but without the additional context doesn’t make sense.

Thank you for the callout, we will be more granular going forward

Thanks,

Jake
