An app designer from our Singapore plant wants to display a stacked bar chart, but also wants to include target lines in a productivity analytic.
He gave me an example of something like this…
I could make a stacked bar chart which looks like this…
But the issue was adding those constant lines…
I then thought about creating an overlay with a transparent background to fit over top that stacked bar chart which looked something like this…
The issue I quickly noticed I would run into is that on a two-variable analytic, I can set the Y-Axis scale, but for a one-operation, I cannot. So even if I wanted to overlay it, the scaling wouldn’t necessarily be the same.
Thinking of the least amount of platform modification needed to solve this, since you already have the y-axis scaling setup for the two-variable analytics, could you apply that to the one-operation?
This would create a workaround to at least match scaling for different analytics.
