I just wanted to share something neat that I was playing with for fun. Godot is an open source game engine (it is free and pretty fun to play with). It got me thinking… what if managing an operation was like playing one of those strategy games? Except instead of just playing around you can actually run your real life operation? That would be neat, I thought.
Since Tulip can connect to anything that is open to connections I gave it a shot. Pretty neat!
Here is a gif of one of our library apps that lets users indicate an Andon alert. The “game” portion lets you build a shop floor map and it interacts with the Tulip applications.
Just some food for thought, pretty cool though!
