Version 2.6.0 of Desktop Player will be available for download by 9:00PM ET tomorrow (August 17th, 2024)! If you have auto-updates enabled, the Desktop Player application will update in the background and changes will take effect the next time the application is restarted. Alternatively, you can manually initiate the update process from the file menu.

We’ve been using the Linux player for quite some time now and are very happy with that option. The files that were provided to use directly as it was developed were named something like “Tulip Player-2.2.0.deb” which was very helpful since updating is a manual process, and we new what version we had by just looking at the filename.
Any chance you could make the download option at https://download.tulip.co/ for the Linux Tulip Player include the version that you are downloading in the filename?
