Hello Tulip Community,

Excited to finally share something that my team and I have been working on!

I have been developing a Chrome plugin that brings a wealth of customization features to your Tulip App Editor experience– tulbelt!

Some of my favorite examples of features– I truly can’t live without these anymore.

  1. Sort tables new to old by default

  2. Ctrl + K quick search menu

  3. Search Table Queries List

  4. Snap widgets to multiples of 10 pixels

  5. Variables modal always available

  6. Streamlined tab names

  7. Slimmed editor screen views

  8. Custom UI for building Tulip API Connector Functions

The best part of this tool is that I believe there are many more ideas we can build as a community. The codebase is entirely open sourced, and I am looking forward to supporting any others with requests or code submissions of their own.

These features are added by manipulating the front end of the app editor experience from inside of Chrome. The obvious disclaimer here is that none of this can be officially supported by Tulip, and your mileage may vary on different versions of Tulip. All toggles are isolated and easy to disable, and I look forward to working with the community to address issues as they appear.

WOW!

I’ve been testing this out and it’s so awesome!

I especially love the new UI for functions input in connectors and how the nested variables in objects are displayed in the trigger menu.

Honestly, some of these options are so good I feel like Tulip should take some notes and integrate these directly into the platform :wink:
