Currently, you can open folder and / or launch files, but EXEs blocked. We have tons of legacy application that aren’t going to get re-written due to their age. Many of them accept things like cmd line arguments. It would ideal if, from Tulip, one could launch the exe with an argument / parameter for a seamless integration when the operator gets to a certain spot in their SOP.
I realize the theoretical security concern, however, this could be an opt-in thing if needed. Additionally, it’s not necessarily a “picker” (i.e. the developer is selecting what exe can be run, not the user).
