Testing apps in developer mode has been becoming an issue more and more in the last week or so. We have started assigning apps to Tulip stations in order to put them into use while testing them still locally with developer mode. I’ve had a lot of instances of the page randomly reloading itself and starting over at the beginning of an app but the bigger problem is this:
- When I start to test an app I am always allowed to run the initial app I’m in regardless of the station or user I have selected in the dropdowns.
- If I change the user or the station, developer mode will fail to do any app transitions that come along by popping up a message saying “Deleted User at Station” and showing that no apps are allowed for this station.
- All apps are in development version and all permissions are granted by group for development mode. I can quite clearly tell that the stations being used should have permission to get to the apps they are transitioning to.
My questions are these:
- Am I missing something/Is this expected behavior?
- Could this be caused by having a station running an app while developer mode is running the same app?
- Could this be caused by multiple testers running the app in developer mode?
