Just thew in a request for this one. I don’t know of a good workaround for this limitation, so I will do what I can to get this one expedited.
I will keep this thread updated as it moves through our process.

This feature has been completed. It will be in r229 (pending testing, but this was a low risk change). r229 is ~4 weeks from release.
We are building out the systems to make it easier for some of these quick wins to skip the line ahead of some of the bigger projects we are working on. Please let us know with other little things like this you run into.
