How to get the name of Edge IO from the Node-RED running on it

Please let me know if there are any official way of getting the name of the Edge IO name from the Node-RED running on it.

With few trial and error, I found out that I can get their name (EIO-xx-xxxxxxxx) this way on one specific device.
However, I do not know if this is a stable way to do it. (will it keep on working after firmware updates?)
