Import CSV with "User" Type

Hello Everyone,

I would like to suggest one thing here.

When we import a CSV file to a Tulip table, some of field type are not supported to import. Could you support “User” field as importable field?

For example, there are some test records and some production records in a table. When our customer wanted to delete test records only, so they download all data to a CSV file once and deleted all test data. After that, they tried to import production data only from the CSV file. But “User” field is not supported to upload.

So, it’s not possible to do data cleansing like this way.

I’m seeing this is still an issue - field with datatype=User is not selectable for import mapping:

Any good workarounds?

@jmlowden I don’t use the user field type for this reason; hopefully it’s included in CSV upload soon
