Wondering where I can find more information about what events do and do not affect (reset) the logout countdown timer, whether this timer value can be exposed in-app, and what the roadmap might look like for alternatives to how this timer can be set (e.g. per app or display device / station) to override the system-level configuration.
If these aren’t already a thing, I think these would be helpful features:
- expose the logout countdown timer value so warnings can be triggered by it, so the user can see it, etc.
- enable apps, stations, or display devices to be configured to override the logout timer (e.g. for dashboard displays)
- for auditing purposes, have a dashboard that keeps track of such configuration overrides
- provide comprehensive documenation around the logout timer, which events/interactions do not reset the timer and which events/interactions do reset the timer.
