Regarding April maintenance activities:

  • Database filesystem maintenance is a recommendation from our cloud provider that involves swapping the database server disk with a replacement disk. Both old and new disks will contain the same data, but there will be a configuration change regarding the filesystem.
  • Kubernetes upgrade involves upgrading the version of the infrastructure component. Existing Kubernetes nodes will be replaced with new ones, requiring a brief downtime for Tulip customers.
  • PGbouncer, an infrastructure component used by Tulip software to connect to backend databases, needs a version upgrade. As services must reestablish connections to our database server, a brief disruption of the Tulip platform is anticipated.
