Hey Community!
I’m Brennan, North America TEC Program Manager at Tulip, based out of our Boston Tulip Experience Center.
I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on that leverages the power of Tulip and AI. I’ve built an AI Agent directly within Tulip!
The idea is to use Tulip’s AI Vision capabilities alongside Anthropic’s Claude language model. This setup gives supervisors a clearer view of what’s happening at each workstation, which can help optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
Here’s how it works:
- Tulip’s Vision change detectors begin capturing images when a bin of inventory parts is detected.
- These images are sent to Claude for classification using a Tulip connector and automations.
- Claude identifies activities like assembly, fastening, or even when the operator is not at their station.
- The results are sent back to Tulip for analysis.
Here’s an overview of the automation that powers this integration:
If you’re curious about seeing it in action, I posted a demo video on LinkedIn.
For those interested in the technical details, there’s a deeper dive video available as well here.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how we can further use AI in our Tulip apps!
