There appears to be some work-arounds for setting up logic, if a machine goes offline (for whatever reason but for example, network outage or server outage) to notify a given person or people of the event. However, Tulip essentially knows when there’s no data pumping through the system. It would be fantastic to be able to patch into that and create a trigger that will email or send a text message to authorized users notifying them of the event. This would be especially handy during off-shifts and/or weekend shifts when support & visibility is low. If this was possible, we’d be able to remote in and reset our systems or direct resources accordingly.
