I wanted to share a quick overview of a control chart I put together in order to clearly see Average, UCL and LCL for a specific variable.
The GIF below shows you the approach using manual app inputs to login the information and the graph that is generated from the input embedded in the same app. It is a very simple approach to view a specific critical variable control chart. Basically you log the variable value, the date, UCL and LCL and press complete.
In this case, the date is manually entered. The date can be automatically uploaded as a timestamp that comes from Tulip or any of the data sources described below.
It is important to note that the variable values can come from different sources and combined with data input form an app. Here are some examples of data sources:
- Sensors
- Machines
- MES
- Databases or Webservices
