[Tip of the Week] Adding a CAD File to your App

hello all,

having models of the parts/assemblies that your operation is manufacturing can be really useful to include in your apps. fortunately, this can easily be done with Tulip’s CAD Widget functionality!!

n.b.: this functionality is not enabled by default. if you would like it added to your instance, please DM me your instance URL and I can enable it for you

here’s a quick guide on how it works:

1. select Embed > CAD:
   
   
2. upload the .STL file:
   
   
3. resize the Widget as you’d like:
   
   
4. the CAD viewer will now be included in your App and can be panned/zoomed/moved per user control:
