Tulip Office Hours 02AUG2021 [Configuring Datetime Formats and Device Library Apps!]

hello all, we’re looking forward to this week’s Office Hours! here’s the agenda for this week’s session:

  • [Library App] Step Advance with Break Beam Sensor: The Step Advance with Break Beam Sensor app provides an example of how break beam sensors can be used to automatically advance operators through guided instructions. Have a Tulip Light Kit? The app can be used with Light Kit to illuminate specific bins that an operator may pick from.
  • Configuring Times and Dates: You can easily define instance-wide settings for the date and time formatting for specific compliance reasons or if you need to make the format readable for users with different standards around formats. Join to learn how to configure this setting for your instance!!
  • Converting Timestamp to Human Readable Formats: Learn how you can use Connector Functions to easily convert Timestamps that you get from your ERP into human readable formats!!

following the demo, we’ll be opening it up to Q&A. if you have questions, add them as comments here below and we’ll address them in the order in which they were received. if you don’t have specific questions, join the session and view how other users are building apps for their shop floor.
