Thanks for the suggestion here! Do you mind explaining more about your use case and why youâd like this feature?
Hi Beth, sure. We have a widely used app in users are guided on how to import a CSV from the app editor in order to periodically update âmaster data.â It would be nice for the user to be able to import the CSV directly from the app and not have to deal with app editor for this use case.
Hi Beth,
Just to add to this, we have developed a number of apps which are designed similar to your âTable basedâ work instructions library app and rely on Masterdata in tables which can be created/edited through a separate config app. For some use cases creating each record one by one through an app isnât practical so we utilise the CSV import function. This then creates a data integrity risk that the user performing the import could accidently overwrite existing records as some of these use cases are for GxP processes.
Our suggestion would be to create a CSV import option for interactive table widgets, which can be toggled on/off and can be configured for for
Hi Beth,
We have an app to manage bulk material storage compartments.
Usually we remove or add a single compartment or two.
Sometimes a new storage gets created or in a series cut over a bunch of parts gets changed.
So it would help to upload a list for materials to remove and/or to add (instead of manually adding 80+ datasets).
