Is it possible to update the user table so that it is searchable and / or alphabetically sorted? It is incredibly difficult to search and find specific users when searching through an interactive table in an app that is linked to the user able.
When you have the user table in an interactive table in an app, you should be able to apply filters and sort it just like other interactive tables!
There is an option in the “Sort by” menu to sort alphabetically by the custom fields in the table. It looks like “User” is not directly available here, but you could make a custom field with username or full name and sort by that as an option.
Hi Beth, this would accomplish the goal but it is not likely to get implemented in our use cases. We have multiple instances with thousands of users. Users are also regularly added so adding the additional task of creating a new field with the user name across multiple sites (in text) and updating all of the app tables is probably not feasible. It would be much more convenient to be able to sort with the existing data (User).
Hi @kkl, having the ability to sort by User alphabetically makes sense here. I’m going to bring this to our team and see what we can do in an upcoming release.
