Wireless screwdriver

Hi guys,
any one have an idea if there is a connected wireless screwdriver that can be connected to the edge io and used n Tulip apps?
thanks,

What are you after?

If it is about torque screw drivers e.g, you could look for one with the Atlas Copco Open Protocol.

Also you can have a look on this page: Torque Drivers | Frontline Operations Platform (tulip.co)

However, I have no personal experience with that topic yet.

thank you @thorsten.langner for your reply. But i am looking for wireless one. All the devices on the page below are wired ones.

Hi @FahdERM,

Many major OEM torque fastening manufacturers provide a cordless tool option.
For instance, Atlas Copco, Cleco, Ingersoll Rand, and Desoutter Tools to name a few.

A common industrial protocol used on these tools today (whether wired or wireless) is the Torque Open Protocol TCP network driver.
Tulip is an open platform which supports many other open technologies.
As long as a tool supports Torque Open Protocol, Tulip can communicate with the Tool via a Tulip Edge device.

I would recommend reaching out to your internal process/manufacturing engineer or your process control hardware vendor for specific tool recommendations, as it will be more dependent on your assembly process requirements.

Thank you,
Damiana

Hi @d.gonzales,
Thank you for your answer. Knowing now that Tulip supports Torque Open Protocol TCP network driver, i will see which one our customer can use.
best regards,
