We have the Zebra DS8178 wireless barcode scanners in-house and were hoping to be able to use them. I have gone through the steps of adding a “custom” scanner in the player, but it is not working. Does anybody have any experience with this particular scanner, and is there a workaround?
Update on this: You no longer need to add a custom scanner. As long as the scanner is programed with a carriage return, it will work.
