It is very difficult at present to reliably recover which field was selected as the data source.
A descriptive tooltip could help solve this.
This applies both to table records links as well as to variables where a field of an object needs to be referenced, e.g. after retrieving data from a connector function call.
In addition, as has I think mentioned elsewhere but I cannot find the topic, it would be nice if when selecting the drop down, the list immediately jumps back to the right place rather than just showing just the entire list of possible links as is.
